Industrial Relations Superintendent (Del Monte Kenya Ltd ) Job in Kenya


Del Monte Kenya Limited is a premier producer and marketer of Fruits and Beverages, with a workforce of close to 6,000 employees.

We wish to choose a suitable candidate to fill the position of anIndustrial Relations Superintendent.

The individual will join a high achieving management team, and add value in the human resource management function that goes beyond the personnel administrative role.

Reporting: Reports to the Human Resources Manager.

Overall Job Purpose: To ensure good employee/industrial relations and quality service delivery to all employees.

Main Activities 
  • Maintenance of harmonious and productive Industrial Relations.
  • Active role in the negotiation process of Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Maintenance of employee records.
  • Administration of Government statutory schemes.
The Person

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:- 
  • Aged between 35 and 45 years.
  • A University degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration or Commerce, with a bias in Human Resource Management, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A post graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management.
  • Over 5 years experience in a busy HR and labour intensive environment 3 of which must have been in a senior position.
  • Pleasant, results oriented, hardworking, persuasive individual with excellent inter-personal and communication skills who is able to think strategically, and effectively present ideas in an organized manner.
