Distribution Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities

To handle the daily activities involved with the collection, receipt, and distribution of goods and materials.

To use tracking and information systems to document, track and locate these products.

Re-ordering goods

Monitoring stock levels

Arranging the purchasing and supply of equipment

Overseeing the ordering process

Forecasting stock levels

Troubleshooting problem

Reviewing supply networks

Evaluating quotations

Skills Required 
  • Leadership and people management
  • Administration and organisation skills
  • Time management and planning
  • Motivation and professionalism
  • Being innovative, analytical and thorough
  • Good Communication, presentation, and training skills
  • Good Negotiation, networking, and project management skills
  • Ability Managing teams and human resource responsibilities
  • Being positive and amicable
  • Being flexible and commercially aware
Education: 
  • A minimum of a Diploma in business management/ Administration
  • Expertise in the field of purchasing and supplies transport and logistics
  • A minimum of 5 yrs in the same field
