A reputable and well established Tour Operating and Holiday Packaging Agency is looking for a self motivated and result oriented Business Development Manager to work in Kenya, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer

The person will lead the Marketing function by :

• Developing and implementing marketing strategies
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Develop Creative Concepts for branding and Advertising
• Developing a fully integrated Marketing plan
• Set and Develop set targets for his / her department
• Mentoring and developing the marketing team
• Participate in local and international trade shows.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Diploma in sales & Marketing from a reputable institution. Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management would be an added advantage.
• Atleast three years experience in tours and travel or hospitality industry.
• Ability to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
• Proven ability to set and meet sales targets
• Should be excellent in oral and written communication / presentations.
• A self-motivated individual and an excellent team player able to influence others

Terms: Negotiable including possibility of working on Commission and retainer.
