The Mid wife will support SOS Medical Centres in Eldoret and Nairobi to serve in the ‘Save My mother project’ a newly established cervical cancer screening and treatment project.

Position Summary
The Mid wife will support SOS Medical Centres in Eldoret and Nairobi to serve in the ‘Save My mother project’ a newly established cervical cancer screening and treatment project.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Community mobilisation and awareness on cervical cancer
- Carrying out screening and treatment on cercal cancer
- Overseeing data collection and analysing for the project
- Community capacity building on health care issues related to cervical cancer
- Guiding and counselling support
Job Profile
- Must have a diploma ¡n Nursing with midwifery, certified by the Nursing council of Kenya
- At least for 10 years working experience as a nurse.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work directly with women at grass root level
- Retired midwives are encouraged to apply
